6 Seconds of Life Blog Tour!

Welcome to the 6 Seconds of Life Blog Tour!

Maura has just jumped.
Now she has precisely six seconds until she hits the water below her—just six more seconds until she is finally freed from her mundane and aimless existence. Freed of all of the regrets and disappointments that have haunted her throughout her nineteen years.
She just needs to be free.
But as she falls, the most pivotal points of her life start to replay like a movie in her head: her family falling apart, her first love, her first heartbreak, her first true friends, and her first betrayal. As she remembers these moments that brought her to this point, will she feel a sense of peace? Or will her death be her greatest regret?

Maura has six seconds to reflect on whom and what in her life lead her to jump, in those six second we get just a glimpse at the key points and characters in her life. I thought I would do a different kind of post on how I would categorise these characters!

Character whose viewpoint I would have love to see:
Owen- the boyfriend who tried his best. I would have loved to see his point of view to clarify a few things.

Character that frustrates me the most:
Maura's Mum- Guilty of giving her husband too much leeway and ignoring how down he was on Maura.

Character I felt sorry for:
Doyle- Typical frat boy who was in the wrong but had no idea.

Character I disliked the most:
Maura's Dad- selfish ex-sports star who couldn't see his own faults but keen to point out Maura's.

Character most responsible for alienating Maura:
Darby- the mean girl of Maura's life, responsible for alienating her in a number of ways!

This book was not my usual type of contemporary and left me with many questions but I found it intriguing and I couldn't put it down!

Have you read 6 Seconds of Life?
Much Love!
